I got this because I wanted to have a good picture for my grandkids when I talk to them on the computer. It is excellent with a good picture all the time and the mic works great as well.
Seeing your family in real time when away was great. Very easy learning curve, up and running in minutes, new to the Web cam stuff, enjoyed seeing the family a week later on our cams when out of town. This Logitech camera made a big difference than just over the phone. Best Price here especially with the rebate offer. Thanks Amazon.
I originally wanted this webcam for my laptop. The camera movement does not always work but it is good enough. When I saw it I noticed it would be too big to carry in my bag so I decided to give it to my parents. The sofwate works great. I originally thought that the stick the camera sits on was able to go up and down to adjust it's height but it is static. It is a good desktop camera
Now I have this webcam for a little over a month, it is a great webcam with a very good lens. Picture quality is super even under poor light conditions. Very easy to setup and use.Now the negative: Face tracking for some reason complains about poor lighting conditions in very well lit places. Also it lacks motion detection software so if need it you'll have to buy one from a third party.All in all it is a good webcam and after spending some money on a motion detection software I'm happy with it.
The Orbit feature on automatic is a little tricky to get use too. if it finds light that becomes the feature it will follow.
